“Beautiful Creatures” Screens at Tribeca Cinemas

The Cinema Society hosted a screening of Beautiful Creatures sponsored by Dior Beauty here at Tribeca Cinemas in New York this past February 11^th. Stars of the feature, Viola Davis and Emmy Rossum, were in attendance to introduce the film to a VIP crowd of New Yorkers.

Directed by Richard LaGravense (P.S. I Love You, Freedom Writers, Living out Loud) Beautiful Creatures is based on the bestselling novel by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia. Set in the present day South, the film centers on Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich) and Lena (Alice Englert) as star-crossed lovers entwined in supernatural family secrets that threaten to tear them apart.

Judging from the buzz following the screening, guests were impressed with strong performances by a knockout cast. Notable attendees included: Ivanka Trump, Debra Winger and her husband Arliss Howard, Crash director Paul Haggis, former “The Brady Bunch” actress Eve Plumb and Dianne Vavra, public relations executive for Dior Beauty.
